Yes, it is possible to strike conversions with content. What you need is the right set of tools at the right time… The fundamental principle is that marketing is driven by conversions but what drives your audience to strike that conversion is content that builds the right emotion.

Why count on content for conversions?

Around 2014, I started working in the B2B space as a writer. I always felt that content and content writers never received their due place in the process of marketing. When I introduced myself as a writer, it was like the corners of the smile diminished and the shine of pride in their eyes diminished a titbit. It was like I was not important anymore. Because they knew I wouldn’t ever be a part of the elite team who were always focused on conversions. conversions.conversions. Thanks to my earlier stints in marketing way back since 2006, I knew that every word I write should circle back to that final conversion.

So now, let’s step into the present. There are many building blocks that are necessary to achieve a marketer’s end goal – conversions. One of those building blocks is words. Ok! After I graduated from being a content writer to a Content Strategist, I realized that while conversions drive the revenue of a business, we miss something very subtle. Content drives the emotion behind making those conversions happen… and content initiates that starting point for customers to connect with the brand.

Well, these learnings made me name this podcast The Conversion Stack.
The first season of this podcast – The Conversion Stack is called Me. Inc which would be about ideas, rulebooks, frameworks, habits, tools, and stories that would help you create content and a brand that helps you connect with your audience. I would be covering some interesting learnings from my work as a content strategist about the founder’s brand, thought leadership, building a community around a common purpose, developing dialogues that resonate, and crafting roadmaps with a green room filled with tool integrations, tech stacks, and many real-life stories.

[5 steps] Rulebook to make your content, convert

  • Align content with your objective
  • Find a community that is willing to consume.
  • Add emotion and tone to your content. This has to align with your audience.
  • Find places where your audience is looking for this content.
  • Launch it. Measure it. These two steps go hand-in-hand.
