One, is to satisfy your ego. Second, is to hurt your ego.
Choose what suits you.
#1 Find an anchor tied to blocked time on the calendar. Have a reminder notification. Keep this as your uncompromised time. Start writing.
Time boxing is a very effective technique when you want to repeat a hard task and keep doing it consistently.
#2 Don’t be someone who can’t respect yourself. If you don’t have time for yourself, then no one else will take time for you. Start writing.
Poor skill defeats you only for a moment. But the wrong mindset defeats you for life.
